Frank
Bournois is a Full Chair Professor of Management (Professeur Agrégé
des Universités) at the University of Paris Panthéon-Assas
(Paris II). He was previously teaching at the Institute of Business Administration
at the State University of Lyon III. He is currently a Visiting
Professor
at Cranfield School of Management (UK), at the David Eccles School of
Business at the University of Utah (US), Liverpool
Business School (UK)
and at North London University (UK).
He holds a Doctorate
in Management, an Habilitation (Research Directorship) in Management,
an MBA of Aston University and he is a
Graduate of ESC Lyon.
He has widely published
in Comparative European Management and he is the author of several books
and many articles in French
and English on human resources management
(high flyers, strategic HRM, management development, economic intelligence
and HRM,…).
He has published 13 books, contributed to 13 chapters
and wrote over 25 articles in renowned journals.
Prof Bournois is a
Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts (UK) and a member of the Executive
Committee of the French Association of
Human Resources Management.
He is also a member
of the Editorial Board of three journals: The Journal of Human Resource
Management, the Journal of Managerial
Psychology, and the French Journal
of Geoeconomics.
He has been appointed as a
Member of the Institute of Higher Studies for National Defence where he
is involved in economic intelligence,
management of human resources
in the Armed Forces and the organization of Defence Studies in France.
He is the coordinator of all
Defence studies in France
